As the grand finale of the opening ceremony featuring Andrea Bocelli, we were entrusted with the task of creating a kinetic Ghaf Tree of extraordinary proportions. This creation added a touch of enchantment to the grand finale, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed it.
This remarkable tree comprised two key components: a telescoping tree trunk adorned with intricately woven LED lighting. It would gracefully extend from a 3×3 meter area beneath the central stage to a towering height of 7 meters, with its branches spreading outwards to reach 5 meters. Atop this majestic trunk, an 18-meter leaf canopy was crafted, composed of 50 translucent helium-filled structures of various sizes and a stunning array of 60,000 leaves.
